"Classic, stunning, a real family heirloom, never seen anything like it, a real work of art, looks like an oil painting." ....
These are some of the comments made about the images of Janette Edmonds and Wendy J. Lilygreen of Horse and Country Photography.
Janette and Wendy hail from Somerset and South Wales respectively and have diversified from their usual subjects of weddings, studio and location portraits.
Both life-long horse women and dog owners, they decided to concentrate on their passion for animals but wanted to create images which were classic and timeless and which would show the true grace and beauty of the animal both standing and in action.
Janette and Wendy will visit your yard and will use beautifully painted backdrops and also your own natural surroundings to photograph the horses. They have experience of photographing horses with all kinds of temperaments and can help you to make sure that your horse is photographed to the best effect. If you would like to dress up you could also be in the photograph – your partnership captured forever!
Once the shoot is complete the photographs are art-worked and presented to you to view on the web and if you prefer, on a copyrighted CD or proof book.
There are a wide range of presentation options such as prints, framed images, bonded or gallery canvases, albums and coffee table books. Digital files can be offered to commercial organisations such as stud farms.
Horse and Country Photography work at livery, racing and event yards as well as private stables, and Janette and Wendy will be attending agricultural and lifestyle shows such as the Lusitano Annual Breed Show 2008, 28th & 29th June 2008 at Hartpury, Glos. to showcase their work.
Janette and Wendy will discuss with you about the effect you are looking to achieve, the facilities you have at your yard which can be used at the shoot and how you would like your images presented. They can also arrange a free visit before hand if you would like to meet them first.
Why not give them a call and you too could own a family heirloom or simply a beautiful image of your equine friend.
